Welcome to the starmind. The name for this site is taken from the Stardance books by Spider Robinson. In the books, the starmind was a mental space that resulted from the telepathic union of the top artists and scientists all over the Earth. In many ways, that is what the Internet is slowly becoming.

In this small segment of the Internet, you can find out all about me. All of the important parts of this site can be accessed through the top menu. So, feel free to click around . . . you might be surprised. Specific items that may interest you are:

  • My Blog is where I discuss various items of professional interest. Most of my posts involve IT, Security, and Business.
  • Everything that is related to my work interests can be found under Professional. Expect resumes, white papers, and general IT info.
  • The Projects > Open Source section contains general IT-related information involving the open source projects with which I work.
  • Anyone who spends much time on the Internet tends to accrue different identities on different sites. I try to list out the important ones in Contacts / About, as well as provide you with a way to reach me.
  • All off my "bookmarks" may be accessed through Links. It uses a tag cloud, so the larger the word appears, the more links I have under that category.
  • One of my hobbies is photography. You will find my worked linked to under Photos / Stories. Sometimes I extend my photography into small stories. These can be found under Photos / Stories > Photo Stories.
  • I have a few unusual webcomics on which I work.
    • "Coyote Signs" is based on a sign I saw in Arizona (details at Projects > Coyote Signs).  It's permanent home is over at my Blog, where it updates on Saturdays and Sundays... just to keep people entertained.
    • "Strained Geometries" is an experimental web comic that explores contemporary issues in American culture.  Hopefully in a somewhat humorous way.
  • Some of the fun things I do can be found in Projects > Games. It's not a large section though.
