Over the last decade, the number of people working in IT has grown by leaps and bounds. Many people joined the industry because they had some skills in technology. Others joined because there was a lot of money to be made. Still others joined because they feel that that is the industry where they can best use their skills to help others. These latter people are professionals. I am a professional.

As an IT professional, I take great pride in my work, I do all I can to help my clients, and I keep my skills as sharp as possible. It is not always easy and takes a lot of time, but the results are well worth it.

    Certifications have gotten a bit of a bad rap in the IT field. This is largely due to the prevalence of many paper and pencil certifications that are easy to pass. However, there are some certifications that do have meaning. These tend to be the certifications that are hard to obtain and demonstrate actual real world knowledge.
